Unearthly Trance =

Robert Johnson, Sunn O))) and Tom Waits gorge on PCP and then form a jam band, busking for change in the New York City subway.

Rubato sludge. The articulate grunt. Doom metal slowed down, decelerating, braked, ritardando… time lost completely is beyond all tempo…

Listen: songs slip and slide like blood down a victim’s cheek– only randomly in a rhythm.
